After a 1-year, $3-million-dollar renovation, the City of Neosho Civic Center is now open. Thanks to the citizens of Neosho, after passing a $0.125 sales tax, the renovation was possible. The Civic is located at 109 West Main Street, just west off the historic downtown square.

Audio / Lighting
The Civic has a state-of-the-art sound and lighting system available for musical and theatrical performances. Because of the sophisticated nature of the equipment, only our trained technicians may operate the system, and there is an additional charge for their services. Arrangements may be made with the civic manager for these services. Equipment specifications are listed on the

New Kitchen Amenities
The Civic offers a state-of-the-art kitchen experience. A professional catering kitchen is available for any event and will accommodate most needs.
Guests are greeted with a completely renovated lobby. The corridor is adorned with art deco wall sconces that give a nice glow to welcome any visitor into the Civic. Custom handrails line the stairway to the renovated balcony. The custom handrails reflect the art deco era and were designed and hand-crafted by local artist Tim Booyer. The pattern in the floor mirrors the metal art deco window grates that once hung on the exterior of the building.
