CITY OF NEOSHO PARKS IMPLEMENTS PARTIAL CLOSURES DUE TO COVID-19

Effective immediately ALL City of Neosho Parks Tennis Courts, Playground Equipment Areas, and Baseball Fields are CLOSED to Public Access. These measures are taken to deter the grouping of people, increase social distancing and protect the public health.

Open spaces in the City of Neosho Parks will still be open to the public during posted hours 5:00AM-Midnight including all walking/bike trails. The Neosho Skate Park at Morse Park will remain open providing adherence to rules regarding social distancing are maintained, as well as the Disc Golf Course and Hickory Creek fishing areas.

The City of Neosho strongly reminds everyone of their personal responsibility to the safety and health of the community by strictly following the guidance of local, state and federal officials’ advisories on social distancing (limit gatherings to ten persons or less, maintain minimum 6’ distancing) and perform regular handwashing, sanitizer usage and avoid touching one’s face, mouth, eyes or nose. These practices help to reduce the spread of COVID-19.

IT IS EVERYONE'S PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY TO FOLLOW THE GUIDANCE PROVIDED BY LOCAL, STATE AND FEDERAL OFFICIALS TO REDUCE THE SPREAD OF COVID-19 AND KEEP OUR COMMUNITY AS SAFE AS POSSIBLE FROM THE SPREAD OF THE DISEASE.
